Mens sana in corpore sano!Imagine...Thickest forests... treacherous footpaths... breathtaking views... If you think these are things you'll never get bored of - why don't you come to Beskidy Mountains with us! By the way, it's almost end-of-term examinations time, isn't it? So it's the last moment to breath the fresh air as well as ventilate harassed by ceaseless swotting student brains! The Hiking Hiking Hiking! event is going to be held in May, 14th-20th. We will start our trip in the picturesque city of Żywiec, where after sightseeing we'll have a drink of a local beer in the Brewery Museum. The following days we'll head for East. We'll go towards Pilsko Mountain and Babia Góra Mountain (the highest one in Beskidy, 1,725m above sea level) as well as reach their stately and rugged tops. Nights will be spent either in hostels or in a place called "bacówka" (a kind of a mountain shepherds' hut). Also, nights will be spent with bonfires, parties, games and, of course, lots of fun! Our last aim will be Lanckorona, a charming, peaceful town in Małopolskie district. What's more, the adjacent Kalwaria Zebrzydowska complex was inserted by the UNESCO in its World Heritage List. There we'll do some visiting. Afterwards we'll spend time playing games and sitting next to a farewell bonfire. To sum up, what are you waiting for, mountaineering lovers? You are all welcome!
